FAST UK DELIVERY - We only have one speed of delivery to the UK - as fast as possible following receipt of payment and fully insured so we will need a signature upon arrival. Simple! Most orders are delivered within 2-3 working days.

PAYMENT - Please note in order to offer you some of the best prices on the Internet Richmere does NOT accept credit cards. All items must be paid for by cheque/money order/postal order drawn on a UK or UK affiliated bank, or cash sterling; if you do send cash please send by secure registered post. We have compared our delivery times with a number of other leading web based organisations in the UK that do take credit cards and have found that in most cases we are comparable and in a large proportion faster!

We guarantee that each item advertised on our website has been carefully chosen and considered for its material quality and workmanship standards. All merchandise leaves us new, undamaged and free from defects or in the case of antique and vintage collectibles as clearly described. We try to ensure that all product description, pictorial representation, pricing and availability are as accurate as possible. However, nobody is perfect and in the unlikely event of an error we will contact you and give you the option of reconfirming your order or cancelling. Items are photographed and uploaded onto our website to as close to its original colours. We cannot accept responsibility for any variation in colour caused by a users browser software or computer system. 

Prices and Payment

All prices on our website are shown in GBP and are inclusive of VAT (if appropriate) at the current rate and are correct at the time of entering the relevant information. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice but this will not affect any accepted orders. All items are subject to availability and all dimensions are approximate. Delivery charges to the UK will be applied during Check Out. Delivery to outside the UK will be worked out as a cost above the UK price stated and a follow-up email will be sent to you ASAP detailing delivery options and the amount due.  Postage and packing offers made on this web-site are applicable to the UK mainland only. Do not send any payment until you are aware of the full cost of the transaction. Payment must be made by £sterling, or cheque, postal order or money order drawn on a UK bank.

Placing Order and Contract Formation

It is assumed that all customers placing orders on this web-site will have read and understood the terms and conditions of use. For the avoidance of doubt, the advertisements appearing in this site constitute an invitation to treat. If you wish to purchase goods from us you should order by adding the item to Your Cart and completing Billing and Shipping details as prompted at this site. There will be no binding contract between us until we send you an e-mail confirming your order.

Availability of Goods

All orders are subject to product availability. If the product you have ordered is not available from stock, you will be contacted by e-mail and will have the option either to wait until the item is available or to cancel your order. An item highlighted as a reserved item, indicates that there is limited stock and there is none available at this time. However, if a customer who orders an item which subsequently becomes reserved and does not meet the terms and conditions, reserved items then become available again and are supplied on a first come first served basis. You will be made aware if you have ordered a reserved item by email and your allocated position in the queue should that item become available again. If an item becomes available to you, we will inform you by email that you are able to complete your order. You then have 48 hours to confirm that you wish to proceed with your order, and on receipt of your email confirmation that you wish to complete your order, the item will then be reserved on your behalf for 7 days. Payment must be made within 7 days of confirmation.

Despatch

Risk of damage or loss of your purchase will pass to you at the time of delivery to the address provided by you, or, if you are not available to receive your delivery, at the time when we have tendered delivery of your purchase.

Right to Cancel

You have an unconditional right to cancel your order within seven working days from the day of delivery. Items must be returned in their original and unused condition together with a valid receipt or other proof of purchase and at your cost. The company does not pay return postage. returned parcels remain the customer's responsibility until safely received by us. Additional parcel insurance is recommended when returning goods valued over £30. To process your return please contact us by e-mail including your order number. Then return your package to the address set out below.

Satisfaction or Return

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, for whatever reason, you may return it to us within 7 days of delivery for an exchange or refund. This guarantee specifically excludes items made to order, faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. The buyer shall inspect the goods immediately upon receipt and shall notify Richmere Limited within 7 days of delivery if the goods are damaged or do not comply with any of conditions of the contract. If the buyer fails to do so the buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the goods. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have as a consumer. Items must be returned in their original and unused condition together with a valid receipt or other proof of purchase and at your cost. To process your return please contact us by e-mail including your order number. Then return your package to the address set out below. Your statutory rights are not affected.
